Holidays with positive travel advice

 

Currently, we will only continue with holidays to destination with positive travel advice. We are closely following the foreign travel advice set by the UK Government. You can view this information here

For us, the most important factor is that every element of your holiday is safe and adheres to local COVID-19 measures. This is why we will only continue to offer destinations that implement these measures and guarantees you a safe and comfortable holiday. 

However, we do understand in these uncertain times you may change your mind. Which, is why if you decide not to continue with your holiday you can rebook your holiday free of charge up to 6 weeks before departure. Or if you have chosen to upgrade to our 'Premium Exchange Guarantee' you can rebook your holiday up to 2 weeks before departure. 

 

Holidays with negative travel advice

 

Many holiday destinations can change from positive to negative travel advice. If this happens with your holiday destination, no later than two weeks before departure, we will contact you to discuss if you would prefer to rebook your holiday or choose to cancel. If you opt to cancel your holiday you will receive a financially protected credit note or, if you booked with our 'Cash Refund Guarantee', you will receive a cash refund within 14 days.

We are closely following both local and international advice and, we will always inform you of any changes at the latest two before your departure date. Exchange Guarantee

Have complete flexibility to adjust or rebook your self-drive holiday with our Exchange Guarantee. Included free of charge in all our package holidays is our Standard Exchange Guarantee. You can choose to make adjustments to your holiday up to 6 weeks before departure. However, if you would like more flexibility, then, for as little as £36pp, you can upgrade and adjust or rebook your holiday up to 2 weeks before departure. 

Repatriation Guarantee

In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, many holidays were both cancelled or interrupted. If you were abroad at the time of the outbreak and booked a package holiday that included flights, we made sure that you and your loved ones returned home safely, at no extra cost. When you book a package holiday including flights with us, that's our guarantee to you! If anything changes whilst you are away, we promise to get you home safe and sound. Cash Refund Guarantee

If you plan on booking a ski holiday but are concerned that you will not get your money back if the situation changes with regards to COVID-19, you do not need to hesitate. If the foreign travel advice for your destination changes 14 days before your departure, due to COVID-19, you will get a cash refund, guaranteed.

At most of our destinations, there is a Sunweb guide present. If you have any questions or concerns during your holiday, you can reach out directly to the guide during working hours. However, you can reach out to the guide or use our dedicated emergency number 24 hours a day in case of an emergency. 

New in the Sunweb App: The Holiday Doctor

In collaboration with AXA, we have launched The Holiday Doctor to travel with complete peace of mind. Via the Sunweb App, you can now easily arrange a teleconsultation with an English speaking doctor. A doctor is available 24 hours a day to assist Sunweb customers with any non-emergent medical concerns they may have.
