Excellent Vaya Fieberbrunn is a modern luxury resort within walking distance of the gondola and the slopes in a wonderful location in Fieberbrunn, Austria. You can choose to either stay as part of the beautiful hotel, or have you own self catered luxury apartment.
The rooms and suites are beautifully designed and fitted with king-sized beds with warm duvets, a stylish bathroom, a minibar and a balcony or terrace with views of the amazing surroundings. The suites are more spacious than the 2-person rooms and boast a seperate living room with a sofa bed and a fully-equipped kitchenette including a fridge, a Nespresso machine and a dishwasher.
Guests of Vaya Fieberbrunn have free access to the extensive wellness area on the ground floor and with panoramic views of the Alps. After a great day on the slopes, you can relax in the sauna, herbal sauna or the Turkish steam bath. There is also a swimming pool for those who still have the energy after a day full of a skiing.
Vaya Fieberbrunn also has its own lounge/bar and a popular restaurant. The lounge is authentically decorated in the style of a traditional mountain hut and the restaurant, along with the delicious food, offers the finest wines and cocktails available within the region.
The gondola lift is only a short walk away from Vaya Fieberbrunn, along a designated footpath , so you can be one of the first to enjoy the fresh snow each morning.
The half-board consists of breakfast + dinner.
The breakfast buffet is very luxurious and will vary every day. The breakfast will consist of:
- Different types of bread, rolls and pastries
- Fresh meats and different types of cheese
- Sweet toppings
- Fresh fruit and fruit salad
- Yogurt, muesli and various (breakfast) cereals
- Smoked salmon and smoked trout
- Fried and boiled eggs
- Omelet or scrambled eggs (a la minute)
- Different juices
- Coffee and tea
- 3 course al a carte menu or a themed buffet
- As a guest of Vaya Fieberbrunn you can use a ski locker at the ski lift of Fieberbrunn free of charge.
- The rooms/suites have double beds. A request for seperate beds is not possible.
Fieberbrunn is located between Leogang and St. Johann in Tirol and is a very lively village with all kinds of activities and events to keep you entertained. Snowboarders may find this resort of particular interest as it is where the annual snowboard competition "Lords of the Boards” is held. Due to its geographical location Fieberbrunn is tucked away in a ‘snow lock’ and enjoys excellent snow conditions. With 40 kilometers of easy to intermediate slopes and a few black runs, the ski resort is suitable for both novice and advanced skiers and snowboarders. If you want to take a break from the pistes for a day you can opt to relax in the public swimming pool, the sauna or the solarium. Despite attracting a steady increase in the number of visitors over the years the village has still managed to retain its authentic appeal with the lively village square and picturesque shopping streets. For après-ski you can rely on one or more of the many bars in Fieberbrunn to suit your tastes!
Ski Alpin ski pass
From this season, the Ski Alpin ski pass will now be included in your package to Saalbach. With this ski pass you will have access to 3 large ski areas: Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn, Schmitten Zell am See and Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. With this ski pass, you can use more than 400 kilometres of slopes and more than 119 lifts.
The Skicircus alone has 270 kilometres of piste and is one of the largest ski areas in Austria. You can also ski in the family ski area Schmitten, where you will find various theme runs for children. Finally, you can still visit the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. This is the only glacier in Salzburg and offers 100% snow certainty 365 days a year

The official language is German but English is widely spoken as well.
There is one hour time difference with the UK (GMT+1).
The official currency is the Euro.
It is customary in Austria to tip between 5% and 10% in bars and restaurants.
Food & Drink:
Austria is known for its Vienna Schnitzels and Glühwein. Tap water is safe for drinking.
Opening times shops:
Shops are usually open from Monday until Friday from 09.00 AM to 18.00 PM (some shops close during the afternoon). Most shops are closed on Sunday.
Travelling by car:
Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.
The voltage is 230 volt.
UK mobile phones work in Austria as well.
You need to be in the possession of a valid passport to travel to Austria.
Sunweb offers flights and transfers packages to this resort. You can select which airport you wish to travel from in the PRICES AND BOOKING tab above. It is possible to select different flight departure and arrival times in Step 2 of the booking process.
All Sunweb flights are booked with EasyJet. Hold luggage and ski equipment as luggage are NOT included in your package price. This can be added as an extra in Step 2 of the booking process. The price of luggage varies, as per Easyjets policies. All flight bookings include one cabin bag per person (maximum size of 56 x 45 x 25cm; including handles and wheels).

Return airport transfers are included in your package price when booking a flight package with Sunweb. These however can be removed in Step 2 of the booking steps if you would like to add in a hire car or seek an alternative travel arrangement. All transfers are shared transfers to and from your accommodation and the airport.
Due to the nature of shared transfers, there may be a wait time at the airport before your departure. This can be up to 1.5 hours. Please note that there will NOT be a Sunweb rep waiting for you at the airport as the transfer is managed by a partner. All information regarding the transfer (meeting point, departure times etc) will be explained on your travel documents that are sent to you 14 days before departure. The transfer will drop you off in the resort area; you may have not be dropped exactly outside your accommodation.
Departure from the UK:
Please ensure that you are not late and have checked in online before arriving at the airport. In addition to checking in online, you will have to enter your passport information. This is called API (advanced passenger information) and you will receive instructions from Sunweb after you have booked the holiday.
Arrival on Resort:
If you are planning on checking in late on your arrival day, it is almost always possible to get into your hotel or apartment. However, it is very important that this is arranged in advance. You will receive your travel documents two weeks before your departure, and this will include instructions on how to arrange your late arrival and collection of the key.
Once you agree to Sunweb’s Term’s and Conditions you are legally obliged to pay for the holiday and any cancellation fees that may apply.
In step 1 of the booking process, it is indicated which days the lift pass is valid for (eg Sunday to Friday). If you would like the ski pass to start on a different day than shown in the booking steps, you must contact our contact centre by telephone. The booking can then be adjusted.
On destination, it is not possible to change the lift pass start date to another day. An extension of the lift pass can often be booked for an extra surcharge; the price for this can be found in step 1 of the booking process. The discount for "no ski pass" can also be found in the booking process.
The ski pass for children born after 1/1/2015 is free. Children born between 1/1/2002 and 31/12/2014 receive a discount on the ski pass. You will find these discounts in the calculation of your travel sum.
You must pay the deposit of approximately € 2 on site. You will get this amount back when you return the pass.
When booking ski lessons, you will be asked to specify your level of experience:
Only choose beginners lessons if you have never skied before.
If you are able to break and make turns, choose this level.
If you are able to ski but you would like to improve your technique, please choose this level.

A helmet is only included in this package for children up to 11 years old. If you are older, you can choose to bring your own, or rent one locally if available.
